Playwork is a modern and exciting development in the area of early years learning. It's all about supporting children as they take responsibility for themselves and their own play, learning about the world around them as they have fun. As such, no two days are the same, and Playworkers must show adaptability, keen observational skills and the ability to monitor and step in where needed. Most Playworkers are employed in the voluntary or public sector, and operate in varied settings such as Before and After School Clubs, Adventure Playgrounds and Mobile Play Provision.

End-Point Assessment Components

To complete their End-Point Assessment, Playworker apprentices must achieve a pass or distinction in their professional discussion and observation with questions. The multiple-choice questions test is judged as a fail or pass.
