Children, Young People and Families Practitioners work to achieve positive and sustainable change in the lives of the people they provide care to. They must be skilled in recognising and assessing complex needs, regularly evaluate the efficacy of their methods, and show the ability to work alongside others in varied environments. There are two pathways available within this standard based on the settings the apprentice works within: Practitioner in Children’s Residential Care and Children, Young People and Families Practitioner within the Community.

End-Point Assessment Components 

To complete their End-Point Assessment, Children, Young People and Families Practitioner apprentices must achieve a pass or distinction in the following two components.
